ANSI Approved Helmets are Required for All NMTS Rides

Use the NMTS rating system to evaluate your ability or interest in particiating in a NMTS tour or to let others know what to expect when planning a NMTS tour.

 
On-Road Ride Ratings
Pace
A: 20+ mph
B: 15-20 mph
C: 12-15 mph
D: 8-12 mph
K: (Kid Pace) Saunter.
X: All speeds welcome
Terrain
1: As flat as possible
2: Minor hills
3: Moderate hills
4: Frequent, steep hills
5: Advanced, difficult climbing
 
Off-Road Ride Ratings
E: Easy
I: Intermediate
A: Expert
