PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
If you wish to join the Technical Climbing Section of the New Mexico Mountain Club and participate in club top rope outings you must demonstrate proficiency in the following skills. You may attend as a guest two or three times with permission of the trip leader, but must then complete this Top Rope Qualification Form to continue attendance at club Top Rope outings.
A leader must sign to verify the following skills. If you are not the guest of a specific member, the trip leader will be your host. The trip leader or the leader¹s designee is responsible for checking your belay technique, signals and knots. Leaders should provide Liability Releases and Top Rope Qualification Forms to participants.
You must also join the NM Mountain Club ($8 annual membership fee and application form goes to the NMMC Membership Officer). See a leader or the web site for the form. www.swcp.com/~nmmc/climbrocks.
