Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, Geohydrology Department, Sandia National Laboratories

I work at Sandia National Laboratories in the Geohydrology Department . Research interests include:

  • Security of infrastructure systems with focus on water distribution systems and transportation facilities
  • Stochastic modeling of heterogeneous earth materials
  • Numerical modeling of flow and solute transport in heterogeneous media
  • Geostatistical approaches to managing uncertainty in characterization and remediation of sites with contaminated soil and unexploded ordnance (UXO)
  • Optimal design of geophysical and environmental sensor networks with applications to long-term monitoring
