West Virginia Firsts

I am unsure who compiled this list, but it ended up on my desk. If you haven't seen it before, it might be of interest. I haven't verified these factoids, but didn't see anything objectable either (19 sounds a little fishy). It's a fun read.

Dear Mr. Burns,

Thank you for your e-mail. This site is fairly static and I had no idea this list was actually copyrighted by anyone. Very interesting. I have removed it and reference our correspondence.

ARFHS is an organization comprised entirely of volunteers interested in the preservation of the histories of the Allegheny region which includes primarily, West Virginia. I donate my time (when I have it) and the cost of maintaining this website. As such, I have no inclination to incur the additional cost of telephoning Mr. Crookshanks only to be asked to remove this information (which has been widely circulated on the internet.)

Please feel free to pass on my contact information to Mr. Crookshanks should he renew his desire to speak to me personally.

Cordially, Deborah Johnson 1628 Hacienda Drive Amarillo, Tx 79111 806-335-3459
