And here are aerial-photographs of where I live.
I quote from the page:
Honor Flight is a non profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We fly our heroes to Washington, DC to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans -- WW II survivors along with those other veterans that may be terminally ill. ...
Lots of links to other good information, too.
This is a very good site for anyone who cares what the politicians are actually up to.
There is an organization calling themselves “American Shooters & Hunters Assn” being promoted by the media and various anti-gun organizations as a “gun-rights group.”
Don't believe it for a minute!

Site Design
from which I quote:
"Simply think of it this way, if you have to put an upgrade or download-plugin button on your page for people to view it, then you have not designed it properly. The solution is not for people to change browsers of [sic] modify browsers or download plugins or enable scripts. The solution is for designers to design their sites properly so any browser can view them."
It was by Paul English; it has moved to the
gethuman 500 database
Here's what Paul has to say:
Thursday, 2-February-2006
The "get human" fury unleashed by over one million consumers has become too great to be handled by the sole blogger who started this campaign in 2005.
The database of secret phone numbers and codes has now moved to the new website www.gethuman.com. Please change your bookmarks.
Paul English
The link above will now take you to the new site rather than sending you through Paul's site.
Thanks, Paul, for having begun this movement!
Another site with information about how to reach an actual human being.
If you didn't find it at the previous site, try this one. And, of course, vice versa.
Warning: Neither of these seem to work correctly (if at all) on my system (freeBSD 4.11 running the X window system, version 4.4.0 with the browser, opera 9.24). I hope that, if others with more main-stream platforms have similar problems, they will let me know:
E-mail me at crs at swcp dot com (in standard e-mail format; spam sucks!).
NIST Web Clock
Compare your computer's time with UTC at the National Institute
of Standards and Technology.
In my opinion, this isn't nearly as useful as the old JAVAclock
from bldrdoc.gov; all glitz and no substance. But, like the feller
says, "Your mileage may vary..."
US Naval Observatory Master Clock
Clock runs for about 30 seconds; reload page to restart.
Defaults to UTC (aka Zulu) Time -- once called Greenwich Mean Time
or GMT.
Clicking the "Stop" link takes you to a page of other links that
may be interesting.
This doesn't seem to be animated any more but that could be an
artifact of my platform or my browser. If you find the same
problem, please let me know at:
crs at swcp dot com in standard e-mail format. Thanks.

Here's what they have to say on their home page: OnGuardOnline.gov provides practical tips from the federal government and the technology industry to help you be on guard against Internet fraud, secure your computer, and protect your personal information.
