Over the past six years I have had the opportunity to work with numerous New Mexico organizations including the New Mexico Department of Health, the People of Color AIDS Foundation, the Institute of American Indian Arts, the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, the All Indian Pueblos Council, the New Mexico Pediatric Society, Kitchen Angels of Santa Fe, the Greater Albuquerque Immunization Network, the Luminaria Day Reporting Program and Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Councils, Inc. PeaceKeepers Domestic Violence Program.

My specialty areas include HIV/AIDS and domestic violence prevention though I have written grants for diverse programs including a child advocacy group, an organization which feeds homebound individuals and a youth-at-risk day reporting program. I have extensive experience in research, the development of needs assessments and evaluation. I headed the task force on Family Medical Leave Benefits for the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women and wrote the final report on Pay Equity for the Lt. Governor's Task Force on Pay Equity.

Successful grants have been written to the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Office of Women's Health, PNM, among others. credentials : My Ph.D. is in the area of health and women's studies and I have devoted myself to these two areas for twenty years. In past years I have served as a planner, health educator, program director, program manager and professor. I look forward to bringing my many skills and interests to your organization and specific projects.
