Work experience has come through Focus Foundation (ED and volunteer), Albuquerque Little Theatre (marketing/development director) and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (board president, volunteer, participant). All knowledge acquired "just in time" OJT, self-development attending seminars, conferences, non-profit mgmt training at UNM Cont Ed, networking and the hard knocks--learning from making mistakes. Have done grant writing and proposal writing; creating ads, brochures. Have produced many special events, both in non-profit and corporate world. Sat on NM Arts Commission grant review panel last year. Spent first 25 years of work life in banking, in major markets of Seattle, Dallas-Ft.Worth, and Phoenix. Have lived in Albuquerque since 1990.
