ACF ANNOUNCES EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD

The Community Foundation announces Lauren McDougall from Eldorado High School has been awarded the 2007 Nancy Thomas Harris Award for Excellence in Teaching Literature. The award honors an Albuquerque Public School teacher who demonstrates a love for and quality in teaching high school language arts. The $2,500 cash award will be presented to Ms. McDougall during the Foundation’s annual grant awards luncheon in October.

This fund was established in 1997 in memory of Nancy Thompson Harris, a Senior and Honors English teacher at Sandia High School.
