Tribute to Nancy Thompson Harris:
Recently, David and Nichol Swift made a contribution to the Nancy Thompson Harris Excellence in Teacher Literature Endowment Fund in honor of David’s mom, Jane Swift. David told ACF he selected Nancy’s fund because:
“Nancy Harris was a great teacher and person. I was fortunate to have her as a teacher at Sandia High School. She was passionate and worked hard to educate and set up her students for success in college and beyond.
Mom and Dad have always been close to education in Albuquerque. They share a lifelong commitment to excellence in education for all children and have worked for decades for the betterment of all. Mom and Dad had all six of their children go through the Albuquerque Public School system and each one is a proud graduate of Sandia High School."
