Mike was a fragile man, walking a thin line of reality and permanence, wanting hope, experiencing constant pain, seeking out little bits and pieces of perfection to give his life solidity. He married someone who was like his mother to give his life a sense of security.

Mark was the cavalier, the happy-go-lucky who was also not in touch with his surroundings. He provided Mike with support by being fearless and bold in all sorts of situations, Mike not knowing that Mark was not living in reality *at all*. He hurt a lot of women with his lack of thoughfulness and sensitivity. He married again, and again, and again.

Phil was an angry man, prone to fits of aggression and hostility, which worked very well as a voice for the group in times of duress. He was at rest only when he was percolating and recharging in between outbursts. Phil and Boon were brothers.

Boon was the unsung hero, quiet, passive, and always suffering because he did not do what was good for him at the expense of others around him. He lived a life of service, yet never passionate. But deep down inside he knew what was beautiful in life, and when golden moments would stumble across his path, he opened himself up to experiencing pure connection, love, appreciation - the life-he-never-had.

The four made a music video, and got to play Tranquility, Malice, Rage, and Everyman, respectively.
