SWCP Facilities

Equipment

We use a mixture of machine types for our servers, Suns running Solaris, Intel machines running FreeBSD, and Linux. For file servers we have several Network Appliances.

Our terminal servers and modems are Lucent Digital Portmasters and Total Control Racks. We have a few older Courier and Supra modems that we keep around for customers who have difficulty connecting reliably with the V.90 modems. We support K56Flex, V.90, and V.92 on most of our modems.

The digital modems are also ISDN capable.

We have four APS Matrix UPSes and a backup generator for power reliability.

Connectivity

Our upstream bandwidth is supplied by Sprint and Oso Grande. We have multiple T3s.
