56K Modem Speeds
As of February 3, 1998 56k (V.90 and K56Flex) are available in Albuquerque and
Santa Fe. A 56k modem allows connections with maximum
download 33,600-52,000 bits per second. Upload speeds remain limited to V.34
speeds (up to 33.6k). If your modem supports either the K56Flex or V.90 you
may be able to use this technology. If you are unsure please send mail to
