The New Mexico Conference of Churches declared June 11th a statewide day of prayer about the drought, and Governor Richardson has declared 2007 as "the year of water."

Could prayer have an effect on the drought?  We believe that many New Mexicans think so.  Now is the time to turn to God for a resolution to this shortage of water.  We don't know how the answers will come or what they will be, but we know that when God provides direction, everyone is blessed.
