2nd Wednesday of the Month RubiABQ meeting

This month Sean Griffin will be presenting an upcoming Rust extension to Rails which increases the performance of Active Record by more than 100%. We’ll be looking at the ideas that led up to this library, how it works, and why it’s fast. Sean is a Rails committer and the maintainer of Active Record. He also is the creator of Diesel, an ORM for Rust, and a co-host of The Bike Shed. He will also be bringing Ruby, who is the Ruby in question.
We leave Ideas & Coffee at 8pm on the dot, but we often regroup for refreshments immediately afterward.
