Thoughts from the Staff | Print |

swcp-tile.jpgLast month we announced several new blogs.

We've  added a new tool to set of content management systems available to our webapp installer, vlwcms, (Very light weight content management system). It's an easy way to get started with a content management system without lots of overhead. It doesn't need a database, or CGI access and it's got a very small footprint. It will allow you to have a consistant look and feel throughout your website, just pick a template. You can add as many pages of content as you'd like and have them referenced from a side or top navigation bar. Editing a page is as easy as using a word processor, no HTML, unless you'd like to get into the underlying HTML. There's a contact form builder that will allow you get collect information from people accessing your website and email it to you.

Articles from previous months:

Josh starts a new blog about local shopping called Stimulate Your Neighbor.

Mark starts a blog for web developers hosting sites at SWCP: the webdev blog . This one is in the Members Only section of our site so you'll need to use your SWCP username/password.

August:

First up is an article by Jamii, My Year with the Amazon Kindle .

Next Josh interviews Myra Ghatts from the AIBA, Albuquerque Independent Business Alliance, and Mark gives tips on using your iPhone to find interesting things in your vicinity.

And wrapping up this snippet, Maker Faire.
