Nancy Wood
A full time faculty member in the Visual Arts and Technology Department at San Antonio College, Nancy was trained as an oil painter and sculptor, but her current media for making art and animations is the computer. She has been a college Instructor for the past 8 years and has developed and taught courses in traditional animation, 2D computer animation, digital imaging, sound design, interactive multimedia, storyboarding, and beginning drawing. She encourages students to exhibit their work and to enter competitions such as Helen Victoria Haynes WORLD PEACE Storyboard & Animation Competition. Nancy's creative work is included in museum, corporate, and private collections and has won several awards. Nancy was a National Merit Scholar and received her BA and M.F.A. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
