I've done animation since high school with scattered dry spots. The majority of my animation was done in high school and college where I did mostly clay animation on regular 8mm and 16mm film. My most recent animation projects have been done using an Amiga 2000 computer with a video digitizer and a video camera on a copy stand. Practically all of this animation I did for a now defunct public access cable TV show called the "Art Roamer Round-Up TV Show" and was used between sections of the show. Although I've been very interested in animation, I haven't seen very good opportunities for making a living at it in the midwest unless you are already a seasoned animator. I've been very interested in the content of animation but once again I've found opportunities limited except for on the east and west coasts. So I've given up on animation for now as a way to make a living and, if I do anything at all, do it for my own entertainment. I'm concentrating more on fine art recently and paying the bills. My present project is moving over to a Macintosh from my Amiga and converting my animations to Macintosh Quicktime files. I've also created a web site for a friend.
