James Duesing

James Duesing is an animator who lives and works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His work has been exhibited widely through international festivals, exhibitions and television. He is currently an Associate Professor at The Carnegie Mellon University.

He recently completed Law of Averages a 15 minute computer animation. It is the story of love and temptation in an urban garden. It is available along with his other computer animation Maxwell's Demon through Video Data Bank in Chicago (312) 345-3550. Duesing's animated films are available through the Museum of Modern Art Circulating Film Archive (212) 708-9530. Duesing is currently exploring the possibilities of web based animation and sound.
