Albuquerque Century Battle of the Badlands - Annual MTB race in Farmington. Chili Pepper Challenge - Annual ride in Mesilla, NM by the El Paso Club. Cycle for Sight - Annual ride for NM Families of Blind Children Enchanted Circle Century - Red River, NM tough century, annually the Sunday after Labor Day. ~600 riders. The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route - Runs through New Mexico. Mt. Taylor Quadrathalon - Annual Ski, Bike, Run, Snowshoe race in Grants, NM. NM MS150 - Annual 150 mile 2-day benefit ride for MS. NM Senior Olympics - Annual Cycling races for the 50+ crowd. NM Tour de Cure - Annual NM Diabetes Century east of the Sandia Mountains Pedal The Peaks - Annual challenging week long ride (commercial - used to be totally volunteer) that sometimes is held in NM. Road Apple MTB Rally - Farmington MTB race and citizens tour in early October. Sandia Peak Cycling - MTB Racing, event calendar and individual rides. Santa Fe Century - 100, 75, 50 Mile Road, 50 Mile ATB Routes. Well supported, great route. 2000+ riders. The Sunday after Mother's Day. Santa Fe Trail Bicycle-Trek - A biannual 1000 mile tour of the Santa Fe Trail. (odd numbered years2001, 2003,... ). Shaken Baby Alliance Ride - Annual NM benefit ride. Socorro Fat-Tire Festival - Annual weekend event with a number of rides around Socorro. Spike's Ride - REI benefit ride for the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, annually in September. Pretty mellow 12, 25 (430' elevation), 50 Mile (Double Eagle) rides that begin and end at the NMMNH. Also, a chile cook off afterwards. 600-1000 riders, lots of kids. Tour de Acoma - Ride/race the Acoma loop in April. Tour de Los Alamos - Annual race weekend in Los Alamos. Tour of the Rio Grande Valley (TORGV) - defunct. Was a great ride in the 80's. Road from UNM south to Bernardo and back. Tour of the Gila - Prestigious nationally ranked race. Oops, a race snuck in. This is NOT the NMTS Inner Loop Tour. Trek For Trash - Annual ride to pick up trash along highways. White Sands Missile Range Century - On the White Sands Missile Range. May be an annual ride on the restricted missile range. Call Outdoor Recreation at (505) 678-1713 for info on public bicycle rides at White Sands. Most of the time closed. White Sands National Monument Moonlight Bike Rides - Two a year in the monument with the Dunes Road closed to motorized traffic..

24 Hours of Moab Races - 450 mountain bike race teams and solos. Bicycle Tour of Colorado - Great annual week-long tour, about 1500 riders annually. Colorado HeartCycle Tours Colorado Calendar of Bicycling Events Buena Vista Bike Fest - Annual Weekend Event by Colorado Springs Cycling Club Colorado MS 150 Courage Classic - (CO)- Annual benefit for The Colorado Children's Hospital Denver to Aspen Classic - 200 and 145 mile options. RMCC. Durango 100 Elephant Rock Cycling Adventure - Castle Rock, Colorado. 7,000 riders. 50, 62, 100 miles + ATB. Although the route changes there are no massive hill but lots of rollers so that the 100 mi has about 6000' of elevation change. Rides through really pretty areas like the Black Forest between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs. Great views of Pikes Peak. Light traffic. Epic Rides - AZ: Moutain bike series: "24 Hours in the Old Pueblo". Fat Tire Classic (Denver) - American Red Cross Fruita, CO, Fat Tire Festival Great Arizona Bicycle Adventure (GABA) - GABA Tucson. ~300 riders. Often week-long Grand Canyon to Mexico tour. Hotter'n Hell Hundred - Wichita Falls, TX. hot, hot, hot... Iron Horse Bicycle Classic - Durango to Silverton road ride, mountain bike races. Annually Memorial Day Weekend. Leadville Trail 100 - Super demanding offroad. Moab Century - Fairly hard century through the La Sal Mountains. 6,515' of climbing, 4700' in the first 25 miles. 45, 65, and 100 mile options. Very well supported. For the Lance Armstrong Foundation. $40 registration. Moab Skinny Tire Festival - Multi-day events, pledges required. Moab Fat Tire Festival - Multi-day festival. Mount Evans (Colo) Hillclimb - (Sanctioned Race) Multiple Sclerosis Cycling Events - National calendar of events including NM and CO MS150's. Pedal The Peaks - Annual challenging week long ride (commercial - used to be totally volunteer). Sometimes NM. El Tour de Phoenix Ride The Rockies - Great moderate week-long annual Tour, lottery limited to 2000 cyclists. Quite an event! Ridge of the Rockies - Montana to El Paso. 18 days. 1,950 miles!!! Yikes! Rocky Mountain Off Road Metric Century - (62.5 Miles)/Half Century(31 Miles) Breckenridge - Boreas Pass - Como - Georgia Pass - Breckenridge, Team Evergreen. Rocky Mountain Recumbent Rally Salt Lake Century - Annual century. Stonewall Century - La Veta, Co. Challenging century. Tandem Rally of Colorado Tour de Taos MS 150 - Demanding but well supported with a century option. El Tour de Tucson - Annual benefit the Saturday before Thanksgiving. 7,000 riders. ~109 miles, 3,315' elevation gain. Tremendous support. Long time to pick up registration, ~ 1 1/2 hrs. Shorter options. Fairly expensive, early registration is cheaper. Route changes slightly year to year. Tuscon is a LAB Bicycle Friendly City for a reason. Tour of the Tucson Mountains - 100K and 50K Rides around the Tucson Mountain Tour the Peaks - (Appears Defunct) (CO) - High pass highways, week long, for the well-conditioned, daily average ~100 miles. Triple Bypass - 120 Miles, 10,600+ ft Elevation Gain! Squaw Pass, Loveland Pass, Vail Pass - exceptionally scenic, "For the exceptionally conditioned!" 2000+ riders. Utah Lake Century
