Trails of KnowledgeThe journal Anthropos is a bimonthly publication dedicated to the scientific documentation of culture. Since its initial publication in 1981, it has been creating a resource that now consists of 175 issues and 45 supplements (anthologies and monographs on topics and authors featured in the journal). Anthropos's mission is defined by its subtitle: "Trails of Knowledge." It reflects the conscience and memory of a time of social and historical production, and invites the documentation and communication of other realities not present. They are the argument and process of the historical memory and the project of a new posterity.

This edition of Anthropos is dedicated to the relation between cinema and history as expressed by the important work of research, instruction, and academic organization carried out by Professor José M. Caparrós Lera at the University of Barcelona through the Centre for Cinematic Research FILM-HISTORIA. In addition to the extensive autobiographical text and studies of the author's work, a highlight of this issue is the extensive and well-documented bibliography of books and articles on the relations between history and cinema.
